This Design was first prototyped in 2014  and we found it to be a great solution for the smaller home especially as we were often away for Christmas so couldn't always warrant a real tree. We got amazing feedback from everyone who saw the tree and we knew we had to make this available to everyone. 

I spent 2015 developing and testing the design and in July 2015 I launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise the funds for tooling and labour to go into production. It was a great success and we supplied all our backers with a tree and a lot of thanks for making it happen! 

In 2016 we worked to make production more efficient and tweak the design based on customer feedback. We have invested further into production to create a slick efficient production operation and to produce a high quality product that can be sold through retail.
