Research and Inspiration 

Whether its self initiated or from a client we start with inspirations from all sorts of things, materials, textures, forms and colours, to create a body of work from which the design stems. These are a constantly reference on a mood board and changed and develop as the project progresses. 

In this case it was the existing interior of the hotel the commission was going to be in, along with the new style they were hoping to create.
